Quanto emerged in 1994 at the Faculty of Physical Sciences at the Complutense University of Madrid. It started as a fanzine that sought to give the faculty an interesting and informative magazine made by the students, for the students. This was a magazine intended to publish all kinds of things related to physics, especially humorously, as well as information about what was happening within the Faculty. It went on to sell more than five hundred copies at a Faculty with about two thousand students. A number of teachers also bought the magazine and some of the archives can be viewed online..
Quanto has now launched digitally and is accessible to everyone. You don’t even need to be a student of Physics or from the University of Madrid . We aim to provide great physics information to as many people as possible.
